Park City is a city with a rich cultural heritage, located in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains. Only 30 miles (48 km) east of downtown Salt Lake City.

Park City has three major ski resorts: Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort, and The Canyons Resort. These resorts, while being known as world famous ski resorts, also have a number of summer activities available, from hiking and biking to hot-air ballooning. In addition, the Park City area offers a growing number of world-class golf courses, such as Glenwild, Promontory, Tuhaye, and Homestead.

Park City is also the main location of the largest independent film festival, the Sundance Film Festival, home of the United States Ski Team, the Olympic bobsled course, and luge run. Outdoor-oriented businesses such as backcountry.com and Rossignol have their headquarters based in Park City. The city has many upscale luxury national retailers, clubs, bars, and restaurants, and has nearby reservoirs, hot springs, forests, and hiking and biking trails.
